Expanding pivot gripper to rotate and turn over coils
Equipment designed for lifting, handling, and tipping reels, allowing rotation on the axis from vertical to horizontal and vice versa. It is ideal, for example, for picking reels vertically from pallets and placing them horizontally inside packaging machines.
The system provides access to the reel’s internal core, where the load is locked in place by an expanding mandrel. A positioning scale can be integrated for more efficient and precise load placement.
